MBST® treatment of her lumbar spine and knee have dramatically increased Susie Acland's mobility

Susie Acland has been treated for osteoarthritis of the lumbar spine in Marbella, Spain. "I started my MBST treatment on 3rd July, with nine 1-hour sessions in all", she reports. "On the second day I had an increase in pain which only lasted a few days. During the treatment I definitely felt my back improving, although I was extremely tired at times, my back was less stiff, getting out of bed was getting easier by the day and getting in and out of the car too."

Three weeks after completing her treatment, Susie felt that her back was becoming much stronger. "This was also noticed by my Pilates teacher, Clare. My husband said that I was much happier and less frazzled! I was also feeling much taller. Three weeks after completing my treatment I was able to drive from Estepona town to Marbella. Something that I had been unable to do for at least a year. Of course this gave me a real boost and I felt much more positive about everything. I was much happier and had more energy. Pain is so debilitating. 2 months after finishing my treatment I was able to drive for an hour and get out of the car without being stiff and walking stiffly. I also had much less pain and my husband said that I wasn´t ratty and harassed as I used to be. Constant pain is a terrible thing."

Now three months since finishing the treatment she is very pleased with the result. "I do still get pains in my back and legs but not as badly, unless I over do things or do something stupid, which is really easy now as I can move more easily and so feel much better."

Following MBST treatment, stairs are no longer a problem

Susie started my MBST treatment on my right knee on 23rd July. "On the third day I did get an increase of pain, however after this I could definitely feel that the treatment was working."

Going up and down stairs became easier even during the week of treatment. "The week after finishing the treatment the knee was stronger and I has no pain. By the third week I was able to go up and down stairs without using the handrail. This was just fantastic as before I had to pull myself up the stairs. But on the 4th week I had an increase in pain, totally different from the original pain. This was sometimes quite painful. It meant that the knee was, indeed, healing. I had a setback when I twisted my knee, but with ice packs and rest it responded quickly."

Now three months since finishing the treatment, Susie can go up and down stairs without pain and her knee feels much stronger. "I now do not look at stairs or steps as though they are Mount Everest, and asking if there is a lift or alternate route?. I am very pleased with the result."
